Company Description SOS 42 is building “42” – a next-generation AI assistant for students to make everyday “adulting” simpler and more fun. Powered by advanced large language models, 42 helps users with tasks ranging from waking up on time and organizing to-dos to preparing college applications, studying for exams, and learning from online content. The app offers specialized AI agents for different tasks, always updated with the latest information and personalized to each user’s preferences and goals.
Role Description As a Graphic Design Intern at SOS 42, you will support the design team in creating visual assets for social media and marketing campaigns. In this full-time remote role, you will work on illustrations, graphics, and layouts that align with the brand identity and appeal to a young, digital-first audience. Your day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with product and marketing teams to translate ideas into visual concepts, iterating on feedback, and maintaining consistency across all design materials. You will assist in developing branding elements, refining icons and UI assets, and preparing files for digital publishing. You will also have opportunities to contribute creative ideas for campaigns, experiments, and in-app experiences that showcase the unique personality of SOS 42.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in visual design, including Graphics and Graphic Design skills, with a portfolio showcasing digital work.
- Proficiency in Image Editing using design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar software).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to take and apply feedback, and strong time-management skills in a remote environment.
- Interest in consumer apps, AI products, and youth-centric digital culture; familiarity with social media design trends is a plus.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and motion/animation tools is a bonus.
- Content creation experience will be an advantage.
