Role Description The Graphic Design Intern will support the design team by creating visual assets for digital and print channels, including social media graphics, marketing materials, and basic UI elements. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with logo concepts, refining brand visuals, editing images, and preparing design files for production or handoff to developers. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with brand guidelines and project objectives, and will participate in feedback and review cycles to iterate on creative work. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability during agreed working hours and effective communication in a distributed team environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in graphics and graphic design, with the ability to create clear and engaging visual content.
- Skills in logo design and branding to support the development and refinement of visual identities.
- Proficiency in image editing tools and techniques to optimize assets for web and digital platforms.
- Familiarity with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or similar).
- Basic understanding of design principles such as layout, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a design-related program (e.g., graphic design, visual communication) is preferred.
