Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Graphic & Content Designer based on-site at Kannasu. The Graphic & Content Designer will be responsible for designing and managing visual and written content, strategizing creative ideas, and ensuring cohesive storytelling across multiple platforms. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing content strategies, conducting research, creating compelling visual designs, managing content calendars, and collaborating with the broader design and marketing teams. This role is unique—you will be responsible for translating our design philosophy into high-end physical catalogs and engaging digital content. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how our brand is perceived by clients, architects, and our social media community.
Key Responsibilities
- Catalog & Print Design: Conceptualize and design sophisticated in-house catalogs, lookbooks, and product brochures that showcase our furniture and furnishing collections.
- Social Media Content: Create visually stunning assets (static posts, reels, stories, and layouts) for Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn to drive brand engagement.
- Marketing Collateral: Design digital and print marketing materials, including newsletters, brand presentations, and event invites.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve the Kannasu visual identity across all platforms, ensuring a premium and cohesive aesthetic.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and design teams to understand new launches and translate technical product details into lifestyle-oriented visual stories.
- Market Research: Stay updated on global design trends in the interior, furniture, and luxury lifestyle sectors to keep Kannasu’s visuals ahead of the curve.
- Vector Creation: Creating scalable vector assets for studio signage, branded packaging, and product tags.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Content Design, including creating visually engaging materials and assets.
- Experience in Content Strategy and effectively aligning content to brand identity.
- Research and analytical abilities to gather insights and inform design and content decisions.
- Experience with Content Management systems and tools to organize and distribute content effectively.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong skills in pattern design, color and print theory.
- Basic knowledge of Textile design is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing or familiarity with designing for social media is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role or internship is advantageous but not mandatory

- First Round Interview (In-Person): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an initial interview with a member of our design team or HR to discuss their background, design interests, and portfolio in more detail.
- Portfolio Review and Design Exercise: Candidates progressing to the next stage may be asked to present their portfolio in detail and/or complete a small design-related task to assess their creative and technical skills.
- Final Interview (In-Person): Final candidates will meet with senior members of the design team or management for a more in-depth discussion about their suitability for the role and company culture.
- Offer: Successful candidates will receive an offer of employment.
