Position: Grant writer/Proposal Development Professional
Location: Head Office – Delhi
Work Mode: Full-time | Work from Office
We are seeking a Grant Writer / Proposal Development Professional to strengthen our resource mobilization efforts and contribute to designing high-impact interventions across Education, Health & WASH, Environment, and Skill Development.
This role goes beyond writing; it involves shaping programs, building evidence, and translating ideas into fundable, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue strategic funding opportunities (CSR, foundations, institutions)
- Lead development of proposals, concept notes, and donor reports
- Conduct secondary research and support primary data collection to build strong program rationale
- Work closely with program teams to design evidence-based interventions
- Develop detailed project budgets aligned with donor requirements
- Manage proposal pipelines and donor follow-ups
Who Should Apply:
- 2–5 years of experience in grant writing / fundraising / proposal development
- Strong understanding of development themes (Health, Education, WASH, etc.)
- Excellent writing, analytical, and structuring skills
- Ability to convert field insights into compelling proposals
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership and deadlines management
Core Competencies:
- Grant writing and proposal development
- Strong research skills (secondary & primary data)
- Budget formulation and financial planning for projects
- Understanding of development sectors (Health, Education, WASH, Environment, Skill Development)
- Donor mapping, proposal submission, and follow-up
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
Preferences:
- Candidates who can join immediately / at short notice will be preferred
