Role Description
This is a remote, contract position for a Grant Specialist at LYFeX. The Grant Specialist will be responsible for researching relevant grant opportunities, preparing and submitting grant proposals, and ensuring compliance with funders' requirements. The role includes analyzing data to identify funding needs, developing detailed budgets for grant applications, and maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders. The specialist will also conduct follow-ups to track the status of submissions and ensure timely reporting to funding organizations.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Analytical Thinking and Research to identify grant opportunities and assess funding priorities
- Demonstrated ability in Proposal Writing and effective Communication for successful grant submissions
- Experience and proficiency in Budgeting to plan and allocate funding effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using grant management software or related tools
- Experience working in education or non-profit sectors is a plus
