About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Kitchen Supervisor/Sous Chef to join our Food and Beverage team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences for Grant’s Farm guests, both public and private events. You will work closely with the Director of Culinary Operations to prepare high-quality dishes and ensure flawless execution for catered events. Will work in correlation with the F&B Manager with the concession’s kitchen operations.
The Kitchen Supervisor/Sous Chef plays a key role in preparing high-quality dishes for catered events, ensuring consistency, flavor, and presentation standards are met. This role will also be responsible for creation of menu recipes, SOPs, kitchen operations, and kitchen team coordination/supervision  , while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation practices.

Essential Job Duties
•    Prep, prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and event specifications.
•    Ensure dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.
•    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
•    Monitor inventory and work with Director on ordering needed supplies to support catered events. 
•    Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly
•    Provide supervision and coordination of kitchen team members 
•    Provide ongoing   training and development of kitchen team members.   
•    Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
•    Adhere to company policies and procedures.
•    Other duties as assigned that may pertain to Catered Events or Concession Operations 


Minimum Qualifications
•    Minimum 2–3 years of culinary experience, preferably in catering or banquet settings.
•    Strong cooking and plating skills with attention to detail.
•    Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
•    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
•    Food Handler or ServSafe Certification preferred.


Physical Demands & Work Environment
•    Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
•    Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
•    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
