About the role

Summary of Position:

Granite is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and capable Offer Management Principal Lead to partner with the Executives, Sales Leaders, Sales Representatives, and Finance (plus others) to determine business needs and analyses; to preform and produce a competitive and compelling proposal that will drive sales and improve company profitability. One will evaluate deal economics, commercial terms and conditions, and work with non-standard structuring requests; while seeing through complex proposals, through the companies' functions, policies, processes, and procedure in a timely manner.

 

A successful candidate will have a successful tenure of telecommunication experience with a solid understanding and knowledge of all telecommunication products and proposal types of offerings. One will have an agile and process improvement methodologies, with the ability to convey ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. The position will be the primary point of contact for resolution of internal and external requests associated with pricing proposal, pricing disputes, revenue associated projects and questions. One will be a lead motivator and director, for supply options and solutions, while guiding and working through Granite’s portals and systems. The position requires a team player who is results oriented and set ambitious standards for one’s performance, whom has excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and relationship building skills.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex proposals review, solution build and approval process, while ensuring there is a competitive drive for all quote proposals, to ensure Granite stands out of the crowd.
  • Manages cross-functional projects as it relates to sales initiatives, changes and or analyses.
  • Compares anticipated and actual results and identifies areas of improvement.
  • Contributes to or may lead Inventory Discovery and Analysis Services for Fortune 500 Customers and those with a large telecommunication portfolio.
  • Will support and is not limited to working requests from A3, One in Take, Pricing Review, ETF, BB PQ’s, Legal Contract creation and more.
  • Determines and recommends different strategies to drive sales success and growth, based upon the inventory available and by Customer portfolio and future telecom needs.
  • Provides analytic direction to the Offer Management and Financial Teams by structuring analytical problems, identifying areas for further analysis and summarizing results for decision making; along with making independent decisions involved with quote requests.
  • Cost Analysis: analyze and monitor costs, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements through Quote Requests, Billing Reviews and ETF requests.
  • Strategic Support: collaborate with cross functional teams to support strategic decision making, by providing financial analysis and insights.
  • Risk Management:  assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Regular interactions with internal Granite Teams and Departments, plus supporting external customers’ needs related to Inventory Discovery and Analysis, with onboarding of a closed won proposal.
  • Communicates clearly both in written and verbal form to a variety of constituents.
  • Ability to be flexible and accommodating; thinking outside the box; not limited by templates or processes.
  • Operates in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail with little supervision
  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information
  • Ability to travel independently and present to Sales Branches Offices and Customer visits

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven success of critical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Passion for the telecommunication industry
  • Tenure within the telecommunication space; understanding solution selling, overall solutions and creative.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Telecommunication experience
  • 2+ years of Salesforce knowledge and comfortability
  • Great knowledge of reading competitor invoices and understanding complex solution selling
  • Successful experience with leading complex proposal requests, with resolution in a timely and accurate manner
  • Proven success rate at levels above company requirements of turnaround times and quality
