Backend Engineer

Grafana Labs is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will work on developing new features and improving existing functionality for our flagship product, Grafana. As a Backend Engineer at Grafana Labs, you will be responsible for: - Designing and implementing backend services and APIs that power the Grafana user experience - Collaborating with our frontend team to ensure seamless integration between the backend and UI - Improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of our backend systems - Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and other engineering best practices - Contributing to our open-source projects and helping to grow the Grafana community Requirements: - 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer, ideally with Go, Python, or a similar language - Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms - Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases - Familiarity with containerization and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Passion for open-source software and a desire to contribute to the Grafana community
