ROLE OVERVIEW
The Trainee Service Engineer role is specifically designed for fresh diploma graduates who wish to launch their careers in industrial electronics, automation, and weighing systems. Selected candidates will undergo comprehensive hands-on technical training and will actively assist senior engineers across installation, service, calibration, and troubleshooting activities at client sites across India.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
- Freshers are welcome; candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience may also apply.
- Must be willing to travel for extended field assignments across customer sites in India.
- Strong interest in field service, industrial equipment, and hands-on technical work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist senior engineers during on-site installations, commissioning, and service visits.
- Support diagnostics, calibration, and functional testing of weighing equipment and systems.
- Learn and apply knowledge of industrial control systems and precision measurement technologies.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, field reports, and calibration records.
- Gain hands-on exposure to electro-mechanical assemblies, PLCs, and automation systems.
- Road Work & WIM Integration: Prepare road surfaces, embed sensors, and maintain gradient, smoothness, and durability for weigh-in-motion installations.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Basic understanding of electrical / electronics fundamentals.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Genuine interest in field service operations and industrial equipment.
- Willingness to travel for customer support assignments across India.
- Strong learning attitude, adaptability, and effective teamwork skills.
