About the role:
A
Graduate Intern will work closely with scientists and engineers on projects focused on raw material qualification and optimizing electroplating processes for advanced materials and applications. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to cutting-edge research in surface finishing, materials science, and electrochemistry.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Support laboratory & line scale electroplating experiments, including bath preparation, substrate cleaning, deposition trials, and post-treatment.
- Characterize plated samples using analytical tools (e.g., SEM, XRF, microscopy, adhesion and thickness testing).
- Maintain detailed experimental records, write technical summaries, and contribute to qualification reports.
- Assist in troubleshooting bath stability and deposition issues under the guidance of senior team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe lab environment, following all safety and chemical handling protocols.
- Interpret and analyze test reports, providing actionable insights to drive project success.
Qualifications / Professional Experience
- M.Sc. / PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Science
- Interpersonal qualities: Analytical thinking, Creative & Structured, Ability to work in a global team with good communication skills
- IT skills: Software knowledge e.g., MS Office
