Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Graduate in Accounting. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting processes, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with audits, filing GST and TDS returns, and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Collaboration with senior managers and team members to optimize workflows is also expected.

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally
• Has a good understanding of payroll processing including PF, ESIC compliance
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax compliance requirements
• Analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying discrepancies and ensuring accuracy
• An undergraduate degree (BCOM) or postgraduate degree (MCOM) in Accounting or related field, with 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is preferred
