Role Description The Graduate Engineering Trainee will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, supporting engineering and CAD projects across various stages of the design and development lifecycle. Responsibilities include assisting senior engineers with mechanical and manufacturing design tasks, preparing and updating CAD models and drawings, and contributing to analysis, detailing, and documentation. The trainee will help coordinate project activities, track progress against schedules, and support basic project management tasks. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating clearly with internal stakeholders, and continuously learning industry standards, tools, and best practices to improve project quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for effective collaboration, documentation, and coordination with team members and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and evaluating design and manufacturing options.
- Relevant skills and qualifications such as a bachelor’s/diploma degree in Mechanical/Civil/Architecture/Interior Design or related field, familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit or similar), and basic knowledge of industry standards are beneficial.
- Additional strengths such as attention to detail, willingness to learn, ability to work in a team environment, and a proactive approach to tasks are highly desirable.
