Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Graduate Engineering Trainee. The trainee will assist in various engineering and manufacturing projects, including designing, developing, and analyzing stainless steel components for passenger coaches. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with teams, supporting project management activities, performing technical evaluations, and enhancing manufacturing processes to meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering concepts
- Good understanding of Project Management principles and practices
- Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with design tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
Responsibilities
- Supervision of Production & Quality
- Proper planning & execution of work
- Documentation of daily work
- Adaptability to work in rotating shifts
- Proficient in Engineering Drawings & Measuring Instruments
- Ensuring that targets are set & achieved on a daily basis
- Parameters to be checked & level of acceptance
- 2D and 3D designing capabilities on AUTOCAD to run CNC machines
- Following set parameters
- Should be able to command Machine Operators & helpers
- Proper handling & documentation of raw material & finished goods
- Willing to follow safety procedures
- Oversee the daily manufacturing operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Develop and optimize production processes for maximum efficiency
- Ensure timely delivery of products while meeting quality standards
- Monitor the use of machinery and ensure maintenance schedules are followed
- Plan and manage inventory to minimize downtime
- Coordinate with the quality team to ensure adherence to product specifications
- Analyze production data and prepare reports for management
