Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Baduria for Graduate Engineer Trainees (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) and Trainee Chemists (Food Tech). The role involves supporting plant operations, monitoring production processes, and assisting in maintaining equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. Responsibilities may include participating in research and development activities, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and working with senior engineers or chemists on quality and safety checks. Trainees will document observations, prepare basic reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and compliance standards. The position offers structured on-the-job training to build technical and professional skills in a food manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Food Technology, with the ability to apply core principles in a plant setting.
- Skills in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for understanding, reviewing, or improving equipment layouts and components.
- Exposure to Project Management and Research and Development (R&D) activities, including basic planning, data collection, and process improvement support.
- Relevant degree such as B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a degree/diploma in Food Technology or related field.
- Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment, with attention to safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities to collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams.
