Role Description The Graduate Architect will support the design and development of architectural projects from concept through detailed drawings and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with schematic design, preparing 2D and 3D drawings, coordinating interior and landscape design elements, and contributing to presentations and client communication. The role involves collaborating with senior architects on design refinement, material selection, and integration of functional and aesthetic requirements. The Graduate Architect will also help maintain project files, participate in site visits, and support basic project coordination tasks. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to concept development and detailed drawings.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools and workflows, including familiarity with relevant digital platforms.
- Ability to assist with Project Management tasks, such as tracking project milestones, coordinating with team members, and supporting documentation.
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino) and visualization tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and presentations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with willingness to learn from feedback and work in a studio environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in India is an advantage.
