Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India for a Grade 12 CBSE Chemistry online tutor. The tutor will deliver live online Chemistry classes aligned with the CBSE Grade 12 curriculum, with a focus on clarifying core concepts and exam-oriented problem-solving. Daily responsibilities include planning structured lesson plans, preparing digital teaching materials, assigning and reviewing practice work, and providing individualized academic support. The tutor will track student progress, share feedback with learners and guardians, and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The role also involves conducting doubt-clearing sessions, supporting students with board exam preparation, and collaborating with the team to continually improve instructional quality.
Qualifications
- Strong subject expertise in Chemistry, with a solid understanding of the CBSE Grade 12 syllabus and concepts in Physical Chemistry.
- Proficiency in Online Tutoring methods, including using digital tools and virtual classroom platforms effectively.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage students in an online environment.
- Comfort with basic Mathematics relevant to Chemistry problem-solving and numerical applications.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or a closely related field; a B.Ed. or teaching certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching CBSE Chemistry at the senior secondary level, preferably with online or blended learning exposure.
- Ability to manage time and classes effectively, maintain records of student performance, and adapt teaching styles to different learning levels.
