POSITION SUMMARY
The Food Pantry Process Coordinator is responsible for assisting in GraceWorks food processing operations, engaging and supervising food processing volunteers, ensuring quality and safety standards for rescued food, and maintaining organized, safe warehouse operations. This role supports the efficient movement of food from rescue pickup through distribution readiness while upholding food safety, organizational standards, and a positive volunteer experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Volunteer Supervision & Engagement

Support the Food Acquisition Assistant Manager by supervising, training, and assisting Food Processing Volunteers to ensure tasks are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Food Quality Assurance
Rescue Food Pickup Support

Assist with rescue food pickups as needed, including loading, unloading, and initial inspection of food donations.
Warehouse Management & Safety

Oversee proper placement and storage of food items in the warehouse, ensuring accurate categorization, labeling, and rotation (FIFO).

Ensure warehouse safety protocols are followed, including proper lifting techniques, equipment use, and hazard awareness.
