Grace Fellowship Church is prayerfully searching for our next Kids Ministry Associate Director to assist the Directors in Kids Ministry to ensure that ministry for kids ages 0 year to 5th grade and their families is done with excellence helping them know God, know the Bible and be able to share their faith. The ideal candidate will be a Jesus follower with a passion for supporting the church’s mission of sharing the gospel, as well as a proven track record of success in Kids Ministry.

The Role
The Kids Ministry Associate Director is to build relationships with staff, leaders, kids, and families. This role is to assist with the planning, development, and implementation of all things Kids Ministry, with the specific mantle of partnership with directors for the coordination, leadership, and execution of large group programs which includes but is not limited to weekly Sunday large groups, mid-week group, Special Needs events, Christmas Eve Family Service, and VBS.
The Kids Ministry Associate Director is under the leadership of the Lead Kids Director working on site at our office in Katy, Texas.
Responsibilities
Ministry Involvement:
- Take leadership of large group Sunday morning; lead, recruit, communicate, coordinate, train, and equip leaders for large group Sunday morning which includes large group teachersandworship leadersin Early Childhood and Elementary
- Coordinate large grouptechnologyneeds withtheTechCoordinator andvolunteers
- Take leadership ofspecial events; lead, recruit, communicate, coordinate, train, and equip leaders for large group big events such as Christmas Eve, Easter, andVBS which include large group teachers, worship leaders, skit/play participants
- Assist with Special Needs events includingbut not limited to Special Needs camps, VBS, respite, and family events
- Supportmid-weekkids’program, including but not limited to Foundations
- Help ensure resources are ready and available forweeklykids’ministry programming
Relational Leadership:
- Encourageand support kids,leaders, and families throughongoing connection withcards, calls and emails (Be relational)
Staff Accountability
- Participate and engage in weekly staff meetingsand monthlyall staffmeetings.
- Contribute as a team player with the Kids staff and entire Grace Fellowship staff.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
College degree in early childhood development or 2-3 years experience in Kids Ministry at a church.
