Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for the position of GPR Operator located in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The GPR Operator will be responsible for performing Ground-Penetrating Radar surveys, operating and maintaining GPR equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection and processing. The role involves preparing survey reports, analyzing data, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Collaboration with team members and clients to meet project requirements is a key aspect of this role. Travel may be required to perform surveys at client sites.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating GPR equipment and familiarity with GPR survey methodologies.
- Skills in data analysis, interpretation, and generating detailed survey reports.
- Basic understanding of geotechnical and geophysical surveying principles such as seismic surveys, geological mapping, and electrical resistivity tomography.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain GPR and related equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel and conduct on-site surveys as per project needs.
- Previous experience in geotechnical or geophysical survey work is an advantage.
- Technical diploma or degree in Geophysics, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
