Role Summary
We are looking for a driven and experienced Government Sales Specialist to spearhead our SI business in the Delhi/NCR territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in government and PSU sales with a deep understanding of IT Infrastructure and Network solutions. You will be responsible for generating revenue, managing key government accounts, and building long-term relationships with decision makers across central and state government departments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in SI Sales specifically focused on Government / PSU accounts.
• Hands-on experience selling IT Infrastructure & Networking solutions (OEMs like Cisco, HPE, Dell, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, tendering frameworks, and portals (GeM, CPPP, eProcurement).
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, long-cycle government sales from lead generation to closure.
• Existing network and relationships with government IT decision makers in Delhi/NCR is a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of IT solution components — compute, storage, networking, security, and managed services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration.
• OEM certifications or sales training from Cisco, HPE, Dell, Microsoft, or similar vendors.
• Prior experience with government framework contracts, rate contracts, or empanelments.
• Familiarity with BOOT, OPEX, and managed service models for government projects.
