Position: SMB & Government Sales Executive / Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Executive/Manager to drive business growth in SMB (Small & Medium Business) and Government segments for our System Integration (SI) solutions. The ideal candidate will manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation, opportunity identification, and tender participation to closing deals and managing key accounts.


Key Responsibilities

1. SMB Sales (System Integration)

  • Identify and acquire SMB clients for:
  • IT Infrastructure Solutions
  • Network Solutions (Active & Passive)
  • Cloud & Data Center Solutions
  • Cybersecurity Solutions
  • Servers, Storage, Endpoints
  • AMC / Facility Management Services
  • Conduct high-impact product/solution presentations and demonstrations.
  • Develop and implement account penetration strategies.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets from SMB accounts.


2. Government Sales (System Integration)

  • Generate business from State Govt., Central Govt., PSUs, Local Bodies, Smart City, and Educational Institutions.
  • Identify opportunities through:
  • GEM portal
  • e‑tendering portals
  • Government departments & SIs
  • Manage Tender/RFP/RFQ processes:
  • Bid preparation (technical + commercial)
  • Compliance documentation
  • Coordination with OEMs and internal teams
  • Build strategic relationships with government officials and procurement departments.


3. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across SMB & Govt verticals.
  • Work closely with OEMs (Dell, HP, Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, AWS, etc.) for pricing, collaboration, and joint GTM.
  • Drive business through channel partners & ecosystem engagement.


4. Account Management

  • Act as a single point of contact for customers throughout project lifecycle.
  • Manage customer relationships, renewals, and repeat business opportunities.
  • Resolve customer queries quickly by coordinating with technical teams.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through quality engagement.


5. Forecasting, Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, funnel updates, and pipeline reports.
  • Track tender dates, bid submissions, competitor pricing, and market intelligence.
  • Coordinate with Pre-Sales, Technical, Finance, and Delivery teams for smooth execution.


Required Skills & Competencies

Technical / Sales Skills

  • Strong knowledge of System Integration Solutions, such as:
  • IT Infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Networks)
  • Cloud Computing (Public, Private, Hybrid)
  • Cybersecurity (Firewalls, Endpoints, SOC)
  • Data Center Solutions
  • IT AMC, Managed Services
  • Enterprise Applications (if applicable)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Government procurement models
  • GEM portal operations
  • e‑Tendering & bid management
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and solution-selling skills.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer-handling ability with a consultative selling approach.
  • High energy, target-driven, and self-motivated personality.
  • Team player with cross-functional coordination capabilities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field.
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred (optional).
  • Experience in System Integration / IT sales mandatory.
  • Strong background in SMB + Government sales is highly desirable.
