Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Government Sales - IT Product professional to join our growing Technology team. This role is pivotal in driving enterprise-level sales within the public sector, focusing on the successful deployment and adoption of cutting-edge IT products and solutions tailored to government agencies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of government procurement processes, compliance standards, and the unique operational needs of public sector organizations. You will serve as a strategic business partner to government clients, building long-term relationships while driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a blend of technical acumen, sales excellence, and regulatory awareness, with a strong focus on delivering scalable, secure, and innovative IT solutions that support mission-critical government operations. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end sales cycles for IT products within federal, state, and local government agencies. Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting key government decision-makers and procurement officers. Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to identify client needs, pain points, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with technical and product teams to tailor solutions that meet government-specific security, scalability, and interoperability standards. Navigate complex government procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, and ITAR/DFARS compliance. Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, including C-suite executives, IT directors, and procurement specialists. Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and proposal responses. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy and positioning. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all contracts meet regulatory requirements. Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets in alignment with department_goal. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2G (Business-to-Government) sales, with a proven track record in IT product or SaaS sales. Demonstrated success in closing large, complex deals within government or regulated environments. In-depth knowledge of government procurement frameworks Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and cloud compliance standards Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales enablement tools. Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Willingness to travel domestically and international as needed for client meetings and events
