COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is in a collective bargaining unit.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Management and Administration (OMA), Logistics and Support Services.  The incumbent is responsible for providing a variety of support services for the OCFO such as logistics, property management, supply management, transportation, facilities and equipment maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining records on the possession of administrative property and transportation equipment, government vehicles and disposal of excess property; compiling information for Director or Team Leader on past usage and projects needs of equipment and supplies; arranging for and providing transportation for essential government staff regularly; processing agency, US Postal mail, special packages for distribution; periodically reviewing stock on hand and purges or disposes of items that have exceeded their life cycle; providing services for special events such as setting up facilities, furniture and equipment; performing routine maintenance to multi-function machines and monitors service logs and repair requests; providing inventory management support functions for electronic systems and components and keeping abreast of state-of-the-art developments, trends and outlooks in the support services field.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Duties

One (1) year of progressive work experience performing duties related to support service functions such as maintaining facility operations, printing, inventory, mail services, and transportation; proficient experience using computer equipment and software application to prepare documents, input data and maintaining reports. Incumbent must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. independently and possess a valid driver's license.

All applicants must be flexible with worksite location as the position will rotate to various sites throughout the District. The location schedules are Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 4:45pm and some weekends.  This position is not eligible for telework or alternate work schedule (AWS). 

Minimum Qualifications

Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.

SALARY REDUCTION OF REEMPLOYED ANNUITANTS: 
 
An individual selected for employment in the District Government on or after January 1, 1980, who is receiving an annuity under any District government civilian retirement system, shall have his or her pay reduced by the amount of annuity allocable to the period of employment as a reemployed annuitant.
