Summary: As a Publishing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our publishing efforts by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations in our Audiobook division. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be key to providing exceptional support to our editorial and publishing teams.

ABOUT THE JOB

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Royalties inbox and address queries within 24 hours of receipt.
• Drafting and negotiating Audiobook contracts, artwork contracts, and master contracts
• Preparing and processing Audiobook contracts from drafts to renewals.
• Administration support for the contract trackers.
• Proofing of all products teasers and blurbs.
• Cover permissions for audiobook covers.
• Support marketing materials for future releases.
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Managing and updating publication database (matrix).
• Providing general administrative support to the editorial and publishing teams for projects as required.

Essential Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and databases.
• Previous experience in publishing or editorial roles is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
• A degree in Publishing, Literature, or a related field is a plus.
