• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

• Ability to take initiative and work in an unstructured environment, and be comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with strong business acumen and the ability to communicate with and influence senior leadership teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the Google Cloud business, headcount landscape, and business economics.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in helping the business effectively manage headcount and payroll growth against our strategic initiatives.
• Maintain and improve near-term (forecast) and long-term (annual and long-range plans) planning assumptions, key drivers, and visibility into the impact of changing priorities.
• Cultivate relationships with People Operations, Staffing, Strategy and Operations teams to design, develop, and monitor implementation of workforce initiatives.
• Partner closely with Compensation, Benefits, and Accounting teams to understand drivers and changes in employee compensation, as well as opportunities to effectively manage cost of employment.
