About the role

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist providing consultations to the business on topics such as performance management, workplace concerns, etc.
  • Ability to communicate in Romanian and English fluently to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in employment laws, regulations and labor relations, including experience with employee representative bodies.
  • Experience in HR, people programs, or other large scale people related roles.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Ability to work within constraints as well as to challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, teamwork and organizational skills.

Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver dynamic consultations around a variety of HR topics aligned to the POps’ Menu of Services such as performance enablement, team/manager/leader effectiveness, career development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, navigating transitions.
  • Contribute to deployment of HR programs and processes for a business area, product area or market via dynamic consultations.
  • Seek opportunities to identify, recommend, and advance long-term, scalable and simplified solutions to drive continuous improvements in people processes, asking for input or buy-in from more senior leaders when needed.
  • Identify key business/product and/or market areas and GE/POps stakeholders to build network and contribute to cross-team collaboration.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of Google-wide HR policies, local/market legal and regulatory knowledge, of Google-wide HR policies and understand how to navigate the POps ecosystem in order to effectively service Googlers and leaders. Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
