About the role
Synthlane builds data platforms on Google Cloud for Google partners and their clients in North America. Many of these clients work in regulated sectors, where data must stay accurate, governed and in the right region. You will design and build those platforms end to end.
What strong looks like here
- You understand how data systems work underneath, and you know what makes them fast, slow or expensive.
- You write excellent SQL and strong Python.
- You build pipelines that stay correct when the data is late, duplicated or messy.
- You model data so it stays clear and fast as it grows.
- You know enough about cloud networking and security to keep data inside its boundaries.
- You explain trade-offs clearly to clients, and you take ownership of the outcome.
Experience
- 3–10 years of data engineering, with hands-on Google Cloud work. We value depth over years.
- 6 hours of overlap with North American Eastern time.
Nice to have
- A Professional Google Cloud certification.
You will enjoy this role if
- You like making messy data reliable.
- You want to build platforms that clients depend on every day.
What you get
- Direct work on Google-referred projects, alongside Google Cloud teams.
- Large-scale data work across many industries.
Type: Remote, contract or full time.
