We are looking for a Senior Google BigQuery Data Engineer with strong expertise in data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and modern data architecture to support enterprise analytics and large-scale data processing.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
BigQuery Development & Data Engineering
- Design, develop, and optimize data warehouse solutions using Google BigQuery.
- Write efficient SQL queries, views, and transformations for large-scale data processing.
- Build scalable data architectures to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Data Integration & ETL
- Design and implement ETL / ELT pipelines for ingesting and transforming large datasets.
- Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources into centralized data platforms.
- Ensure data reliability, performance, and scalability in data pipelines.
Data Modeling & Architecture
- Develop and maintain data models aligned with best practices for analytics workloads.
- Work with stakeholders to design structured and optimized data schemas.
- Ensure proper data governance, security, and quality controls.
Cloud Data Platforms
- Work with cloud-based storage and processing platforms for scalable data solutions.
- Optimize performance and cost efficiency in BigQuery environments.
- Support deployment and monitoring of data pipelines in cloud ecosystems.
Collaboration & Business Support
- Work closely with data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Translate business needs into robust data engineering solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of data solutions supporting enterprise analytics initiatives.
🧠 Mandatory Skills
✔ 7.5+ years of hands-on experience with Google BigQuery
✔ Strong experience with data warehousing and large-scale data processing
✔ Strong knowledge of ETL / ELT processes and data integration techniques
✔ Experience with data modeling and database design
✔ Experience working with cloud platforms for data storage and processing
✔ Strong SQL and analytical problem-solving skills
⭐ Good to Have Skills
✔ Experience with enterprise data warehouse solutions
✔ Knowledge of modern cloud data architecture patterns
✔ Experience supporting BI and analytics platforms
