Their duties include:</div><div> </div><div>
<u>Assessing Clients</u>: Discussing a patient’s medical history, symptoms, and desired results; identifying areas of the body that are tense or painful.</div><div> </div><div>
<u>Creating Treatment Plans</u>: Create personalized massage therapy plans for each patient; alignment with referrals and treatment plans prepared by chiropractic physicians, naturopathic medical doctors, or other specialists.</div><div> </div><div>
<u>Massage Therapy</u>: Perform various massage techniques to manipulate muscles and soft tissues, providing relief from stress, tension, and pain. Listen to patients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire.</div><div> </div><div>
<u>Client Education</u>: Offers patients guidance on stretching, strengthening exercises, relaxation techniques, and posture improvement to enhance their overall well-being.</div><div>
<u>Documentation</u>: Maintain accurate records of each patient’s condition, treatment plan, and progress over time.</div><div> </div><div>
<u>Scheduling & Appointments</u>: Manage their own clientele and schedule to accommodate patient needs.</div><div> </div><div>
<u>Cleaning</u>: Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of massage therapy rooms and common areas; sanitizing equipment.</div><div> </div><div>
<u>Promotion</u>: Ideal candidate will share the same purpose, vision, and values as we do: “To deliver a world-class, customized therapeutic experience while maximizing retention and retail sales.” Makes patients feel comfortable; creates a positive first impression; sells themselves, the Clinic, and their professional skills; encourages them to return for additional treatment. Softly engage patients to determine their goals, needs, potential benefit from add-ons, massage therapy products (for maintenance); availability of gift cards. </div><div> </div><div><strong>EDUCATION ‧ QUALIFICATIONS</strong></div><div>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. One (1) year of professional massage therapy experience advantageous, but not required. Bilingual language (English/Spanish) beneficial, but not required.</div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>LICENSING ‧ CERTIFICATION ‧ INSURANCE ‧ TRANSPORTATION</strong></div><div>Must hold a current massage therapy license in the State of Arizona and be in good standing with relevant regulatory bodies. Reiki certification is a plus, but not required. Must carry professional liability insurance as required by state law. Must have reliable transportation.</div><div> </div><div><strong>BUSINESS HOURS</strong></div><div>Business is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 7pm; Saturday, 9am – 12pm. </div><div> </div><div><strong>BENEFITS ‧ WORK HOURS</strong></div><div>Part-time position: 25-30 hours per week; paid time off after six months; entrepreneurial work environment within a well-established healthcare clinic that offers consistent opportunities for new client referrals; professional development; strong management team.
