PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Senior Director of DGR Operations and Special Projects is responsible for driving retail performance across Goodwill of Orange County’s store network while leading high-impact strategic initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and mission delivery.
This role owns key retail KPIs, elevates the customer and donor experience, and builds the systems and processes required to scale. In parallel, it leads cross-functional special projects that unlock growth, improve efficiency, and strengthen the overall retail model.
As a senior leader, this position partners closely with executive leadership to translate strategy into execution—ensuring strong financial performance while advancing Goodwill’s mission.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid California Driver’s License, liability insurance, and a DMV record acceptable to Goodwill’s
insurance company.
- Ability to attend business meetings and work extended hours.
- Travel on organizational business as required.
- 10+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and operational performance.
- Strong financial acumen with KPI and P&L ownership.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or special projects.
- Track record of building high-performing teams.
