Job Description
Pay: $75,000-$85,000 per year
Work Schedule: 8:00am-7:15pm Tues, Wed, Thu and 8am-5:15pm Saturday
Full-Time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. JOB SUMMARY:
The Supervisor III, Instructor Technology Programs is responsible for facilitating learning and supporting program participants to maximize their independent functioning and potential in both work and community environments. This role combines direct instruction, curriculum development, and program supervision, ensuring that both staff and students receive the guidance, support, and resources needed for success. The incumbent will supervise staff, develop and implement all programmatic activities, review program budgets, and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while also developing and delivering curriculum and monitoring participant progress.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Instruction and Curriculum Development:
- Utilize and further develop pre-approved curriculum to facilitate skills necessary for participant success.
- Assess learning styles and adjust instruction to meet diverse needs.
- Monitor and document participant progress, maintaining required statistics and reports.
- Research industry trends and instructional techniques to enhance program quality.
Staff Supervision and Support:
- Ensure staff presence and accountability; provide assistance, and conflict resolution as needed.
- Authorize timesheets, mileage and expense reports, and time off requests.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for development.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of their specific programs.
Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with all customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively and calmly in non-routine situations, following accepted guidelines.
- Keep direct Supervisor informed of progress and significant issues; participate in team meetings and training.
Budget Management:
- Review and analyze monthly budgets to ensure programs operate within financial limits.
- Provide input for annual program planning and budgeting
Data Management:
- The Supervisor will compile and report all statistics and outcomes and will maintain the confidentiality of agency and client records.
- In this role the incumbent will be responsible for collecting and compiling data from diverse sources, conducting meticulous data audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The incumbent’s keen eye for detail and proficiency in data analysis tools will be instrumental in identifying trends and areas for improvement within datasets. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll drive data enhancement initiatives, maintain comprehensive records, and generate insightful reports for stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
- A Masters degree in a Human Service field, Social Service area, Business, Education, Information Technology (IT), or related field; experience may substitute for formal education.
Experience:
- Minimum two (2) year of experience in a supervisory position.
- At least five (5) years in a classroom setting, teaching adult learners, and understanding barriers to success.
- A minimum of 3 CompTIA certifications (A+, Net+, Sec+, or Cyber Security Analyst).
- Prior experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
Other:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with various types of internal and external customers are preferred.
- Continuously research new avenues to optimize workflow, thus creating more quality time while meeting established deadlines.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports and plans in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills, initiative, ability to work independently, and respond to special requests.
- Must have a working knowledge of Goodwill of Colorado’s vision and goals to assist in moving forward to expand rehabilitation and programs geared to assist disabled and disadvantaged people in attaining an optimal level of vocational and personal functioning and independence.
- Must conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance.
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- The incumbent will be required and must have the ability to drive for company business*.
*Per auto vehicle insurance carrier requirements: For applicants/employees to qualify for inclusion on the Goodwill driver insurance schedule, for purpose of driving Goodwill fleet vehicles, or for purpose of receiving company mileage reimbursement they must be at least:
- 21 years of age (not engaged in passenger transportation),
- 25 – 70 years of age for all passenger transportation services,
- 25 years of age for CDL.
