About the role
We are looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to join our growing design team at Goodspeed. As a Junior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with our product and development teams to understand user requirements, design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, and ensure the final designs are implemented according to specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to understand project requirements and create user-centered designs
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts
- Translate user requirements into elegant and intuitive UI designs
- Ensure design consistency across multiple platforms and touchpoints
- Test and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in UX/UI design
- Strong proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development concepts
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Portfolio showcasing your design work and process
