Founding Software Engineer (React/TS)

At Gomry, we're building a self-service, cloud-based platform that helps organizations manage members, events, and sponsorships. We work with over 1,200 organizations—mostly associations, clubs, and community groups—and connect more than 70,000 people across North America, the UK, Switzerland, and the EU. We also aim to build the largest Alternative Advertising Fund. That's a way for our advertising clients to invest in real-world community sponsorships, so they can promote their products in settings that matter to people—think niche conferences, association gatherings, and more. Our mission is to build the definitive community management platform and to create the world's largest Alternative Advertising Fund, enabling Advertisers to sell more products and services through scalable and measurable sponsorship activations. Since then, we have become a small multinational company when we opened Gomry Europe in Amsterdam to better serve our European customer base. We are now a team of five. It's always Day 1 We move FAST We act and think like owners About the Role We're seeking a talented and experienced (3-5 YOE) Software Engineer to join our team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role will be crucial in building and maintaining our platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and performant web applications using Next.js Work with Firestore to implement efficient data management and real-time updates Refactor client-side fetching logic to improve performance and scalability Build user-facing features and UI components and implement pixel-perfect designs Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
