Director, Insights & Analytics

The Director, Insights & Analytics is responsible for leading the insights and analytics function for our clients, developing custom insights programs, identifying and activating on data-driven solutions, and delivering strategic recommendations that drive business impact. This role requires an analytical mind, curiosity, and creativity to uncover insights and translate them into actionable strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of custom insights programs to drive decision-making and inform strategic recommendations for clients - Analyze and interpret data from a variety of sources, including social media, web analytics, market research, and proprietary data, to uncover insights and create compelling data visualizations - Partner with account teams to understand client objectives and challenges, and design analytics solutions to address their needs - Develop innovative approaches to data collection, analysis, and visualization to maximize the impact of insights - Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the insights and analytics space - Manage a team of analysts and insights professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality work - Collaborate cross-functionally with other Golin teams, such as creative and media, to integrate insights and analytics into the overall client strategy Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, economics, or data science - 8+ years of experience in insights and analytics, preferably within an agency or consulting environment - Proficient in data analysis tools, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Google Analytics - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story with data - Experience managing and mentoring a team of analysts - Knowledge of research methodologies, market trends, and industry best practices - Passion for staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the insights and analytics space
