About the role
The Generative AI Engineer, Vice President is responsible for leading the development and deployment of large language models and other generative AI systems at Goldman Sachs. This role will involve working closely with research scientists, data engineers, and product teams to design, build, and scale cutting-edge generative AI capabilities that solve critical business problems across the firm. Key responsibilities include developing novel model architectures, training techniques, and inference pipelines; creating robust and scalable model deployment and monitoring frameworks; and collaborating with stakeholders to drive real-world impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and large-scale software engineering, as well as a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible with generative AI.
