Analyst – IRP Technology, Global Banking & Markets

As an Analyst, you will work on re-engineering existing trading systems, developing scalable solutions, and building tools to enhance client interactions. The role is highly collaborative and designed for individuals with strong software development backgrounds. Key Responsibilities: - Develop high-performance and scalable applications in a fast-paced financial environment. - Engage directly with global trading and sales teams to understand business requirements and deliver tech-based solutions. - Contribute to architecture design, technical reviews, and Agile ceremonies. - Maintain and enhance systems that are central to trading operations. - Solve complex problems related to data processing, application reliability, and client needs. - Write efficient, reusable, and testable code using object-oriented programming languages. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product delivery. Required Educational Qualifications: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. - The position is open for graduates from 2023 and 2024 batches. Experience Required: - A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in software development is required. - Candidates must have experience in building and deploying applications in commercial environments. Technical Skills Required: - Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language – Java, Python, C++, etc. - Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, development tools, and modern software practices. - Exposure to message-oriented middleware like Kafka or RabbitMQ is an added advantage. - Ability to work across application tiers; for example, you may be writing Java code but should be comfortable handling frontend tasks using JavaScript. Soft Skills & Attributes: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team. - Curious, agile, and willing to explore new technologies. - Ability to work effectively with global teams. - A strong client-first mindset.
