Role: Software Development Engineer in Test

Primary Responsibilities

1. Develop testing strategies.
2. Design, build, test and deploy effective test automation scripts for the product with objective of reusability and scalability.
3. Automate tests using test frameworks like Playwright/Pytest/Cypress.
4. Create test harnesses and infrastructure.
5. Work closely with QA team and move all the bugs identified in prod/QA cycle to test suite and avoid regression; increase test coverage and improve the product quality
6. Build and maintain automation tests for regression features.

Required Skills

1. Overall experience of 2+ years in automation testing.
2. Proficient in at least one programming language - Python/Go/Javascript.
3. Experience working with test frameworks - Pytest, Cypress etc.
4. Knowledge of Agile Methodology ,standard QA processes and bug tracking tools.
5. Good analytical skills.
6. High sense of ownership and ability to wok in a fast paced environment.
