Position Overview

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive our growth and expand our customer base. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our outbound sales efforts, identifying and engaging prospective customers while building a strong pipeline for our sales team. This is a high-impact opportunity at a fast-growing SaaS company where you’ll gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and have a clear path for career progression.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and Engage Prospects – Conduct outreach via email, phone, and social media to connect with potential customers.
  • Qualify Leads – Assess customer needs and schedule discovery calls with the sales team.
  • Build and Manage a Pipeline – Develop relationships with key prospects and track engagement effectively.
  • Partner with Marketing – Collaborate to refine messaging, improve outreach strategies, and drive engagement.
  • Stay Informed – Keep up with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and Goldcast’s evolving product offerings.
  • Analyze and Optimize Performance – Leverage sales tools to track key metrics and continuously refine outreach efforts.

Who You Are

  • You have 1+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing role (bonus points for experience in SaaS or marketing tech!).
  • You’re an effective communicator—engaging, clear, and concise in both written and verbal interactions.
  • You’re organized and goal-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • You take initiative, adapt quickly to feedback, and thrive in a collaborative setting.
  • You enjoy working with teams across functions and are comfortable in a remote-first workplace.
  • Experience with tools like Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo is a plus but not required—we’ll support your learning!

Compensation

Goldcast is a remote organization with access to an office in Boston for occasional gatherings. The CEO is located in the Boston area and COO is in San Francisco.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. The total compensation for this role, including variable pay, is $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
