Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Gold Loan Officer, located in Mumbai. The Gold Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating and processing gold loan applications, ensuring proper documentation and adhering to company policies. The role requires providing excellent customer service, assessing gold ornaments for value, and educating customers on loan terms. The officer will also meet business targets and contribute to the growth of the gold loan portfolio through effective promotions and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Customer Service, Communication, and Relationship Management.
- Strong Analytical and Assessment skills for valuing gold and evaluating loan applications.
- Basic knowledge of Financial Products and Banking Operations, particularly in gold loans.
- Familiarity with Sales and Marketing strategies for promoting loan products and acquiring customers.
- Ability to work on-site and as part of a results-driven team.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills to handle documentation and operations efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in the gold loan segment or banking will be an advantage.
