About the Role
We are looking for an experienced GoLang Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs and microservices for enterprise web and mobile applications. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams in India and the US while contributing to the complete software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using GoLang.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and US-based clients.
- Maintain code repositories using Git/GitHub.
- Support build, deployment, and release processes for mobile applications.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3–5 years of professional GoLang development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices and REST APIs.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and Git/GitHub.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
- Willingness to work in International client Time Zones.
- Experience with gRPC and Protobuf for inter-service communication
- Experience with Redis (caching)
- Experience with event-driven / message-driven systems (e.g. NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar pub-sub)
Nice to Have
- Experience with JIRA or Agile tools.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines
- Experience deploying via Helm charts on GKE / Google Cloud
- Exposure to distributed tracing/observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Exposure to integrating LLM/AI APIs/3rd party tools or services (e.g. OpenAI) into backend services
