Job Title: Golang Lead / Golang Microservices Architect

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer / Lead with strong expertise in microservices architecture to design, develop, and scale high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building production-grade services in Go and leading system design initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems using Golang
- Lead architecture and system design discussions for new and existing microservices
- Build low-latency, high-throughput applications ensuring reliability and scalability
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following Go best practices and concurrency patterns
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend teams, and DevOps for end-to-end delivery
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers
- Experiment with new technologies and build POCs (Proof of Concepts)
- Support teams in critical situations and act as a technical escalation point
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- Strong expertise in Golang (Go) programming
- Proven experience building real-world production microservices
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Strong backend development experience (end-to-end)
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot Microservices)
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with monitoring & logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
- Exposure to Spring Cloud Stream
- Familiarity with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Helm
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS / GCP
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and domains
Additional Responsibilities
- Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices
- Contribute to improving engineering processes and development standards
- Actively participate in innovation and technical improvements
