Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Go (Golang)
· Implement business logic and integrate with internal and third-party systems over REST/HTTP
· Improve system performance, reliability, and concurrency (caching, parallel processing, graceful degradation)
· Write automated tests and participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
· Monitor, debug, and support production systems, including incident response
· Collaborate with mobile, platform, and integration teams on API contracts and feature delivery
Good to Have (Preferred, Not Mandatory)
API & Communication
· Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers (highly desirable)
o Service design, backward compatibility, unary/streaming patterns
Backend Patterns
· Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) / Server-driven UI
· Multi-region or multi-market systems
· Feature flags (e.g., LaunchDarkly, FeatureHub)
· Internationalisation support Integrations
· GraphQL
· Headless CMS (e.g., Contentful)
· Analytics/event tracking systems
