Payment Operations Analysts have an integral role in our Global Payments Department responsible for the daily RTB operations of our Payment Acceptance and Payout functions - powering billions in annual GPV. This team drives bottom line impact through analyzing and summarizing transaction data, advising on and coordinating payment acceptance related projects, finding opportunities for metric improvement, joining forces with dev teams to facilitate in-depth end-to-end testing on all our experimentation and optimizations, and managing 3rd party vendor relations.
What you'll get to do...
This is an exciting new role created to focus on improving our recurring billing platform (Billing Agent). This role will handle the introduction of Payment Routing Experiments leveraging both internal ML and vendor collaborations, improving Billing Agent reporting, monitoring, and anomaly detection, so we can more proactively identify and act on opportunities. This role will directly impact GoDaddy financial health and customer satisfaction, setting new standards for excellence in payments.
Lead global programs to optimize payment performance and reduce processing related costs through building requirements, measuring on and reporting out status by delivering high quality management-level reporting.
Build and automate processes for analyzing and identifying global payment improvement opportunities.
Manage the working relationships with payment cost vendors and global payment processing partners.
Initiate and lead large-scale projects with a detailed breakout of the tasks including financial modeling of impact.
Join forces with analytics and product teams to build the foundation needed to analyze payment cost improvements and drive actionable optimizations.
Ensure seamless payment experiences through rigorous end-to-end customer experience and platform QA testing and troubleshooting.
Supports additional efforts within the scope of the Payment Operations Department as necessary.
Your experience should include...
3+ year(s) data analysis, report creation and financial modeling.
1+ year(s) project or program management of large-scale projects.
Ability to write intermediate SQL and demonstrate an intermediate skill level in Excel.
Ability to visualize findings with data.
Ability to understand complex technical systems.
Independent worker who is capable of strong team participation.
Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment while preserving organization.
Strong troubleshooting skills and high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
