Role & Responsibilities Perform well-defined engineering tasks; doesn’t get caught up in the unknown, works to figure it out, asks questions Actively pursue improving engineering skills, including but not limited to problem-solving, writing readable/testable/efficient code, mastering technology in our stack, and learning to anticipate scaling issues. Demonstrate the ability to learn from mistakes Seek to tie projects back to user value & impact for our customers Find a work-life balance Communicate well with all members of the team Alert manager/team to any issues preventing their work from being accomplished and ask for help Experience &Skills: Experience in Development using Ruby/Golang/Python/Nodejs. Should have live projects available to demonstrate Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming Comfortable working with SQL and NoSQL databases An agile mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements Good in analyzing and solving problems Passionate to work in a start-up Benefits of the role includes: Mentorship and guidance from backend engineers Exposure to industry best practices and emerging technologies.
