The offered salary range for this position is $48,000-$52,000 and is based on an applicant's education.

Position Duties
The EHE HIV Health Educator will collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs. Individual will work with multi-disciplinary HIV Prevention team to implement HIV prevention strategies including opt-out testing, linkage to care, PrEP, and HIV outreach and education. The individual in this position will also be responsible for coordinating outreach and community mobilization efforts in partnership with community based organizations and the state HIV Prevention Program as we work toward HIV Elimination goals outlined in the Ending the Epidemic initiative.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in education, social, behavioral or biological sciences or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.
Preferred:
Experience working with STD/HIV programs. Experience conducting field level outreach events. Experience collaborating with community based organizations providing HIV prevention activities. Experience with HIV testing. Experience working in Public Health. Bi-Lingual in English & Spanish preferred. Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft applications.
