Description
The Demand & Inventory Planner interfaces with the internal and external customer as it relates to customer quoting and production planning activities. This role will also manage the shipping and receiving area.

Requirements
- 3+ years of planning in machining production environment
- Customer quoting experience preferred
- ERP working knowledge and demonstrated knowledge of the supply/demand process in the system
- Understands and interprets blueprints of machined metal components
- Advanced Excel experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
Education & Experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience in production forecast and customer interfacing role
Summary
The Demand & Inventory Planner interfaces with the internal and external customer as it relates to customer quoting and production planning activities. This role will also manage the shipping and receiving area.
- Customer interface for quoting and production status
- Ensures internal and external customer’s expectations and requirements are met
- Interprets blueprints and builds a customer price and delivery timeline base on customers specifications and the company’s capacity
- Production planning with Machining, Parts Processing, and Assembly
- Manages product flow in and out of shipping and receiving
- Oversee shipping and receiving department, provide backup when needed
- Assists in maintaining and improving ERP along with along with other production processes
