Role Description
This full-time on-site role of General Manager Supply Chain will be based in Silvassa. The GM Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, inventory management, vendor relations, and distribution. Key responsibilities include analyzing supply chain performance, developing cost-effective strategies, negotiating contracts with suppliers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing logistics solutions. The candidate will also lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team while driving initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Inventory Optimization
- Strong skills in Vendor Relationship and Risk Management
- Experience with Logistics and Distribution, including global supply chain operations
- Proficiency in Analyzing Data, Developing Cost-Effective Solutions, and Process Optimization
- Exceptional Leadership, Team Management, and Decision-Making capabilities
- Knowledge of Compliance Standards and Certifications in regulated industries
- Proficiency in ERP and supply chain software is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- 10+ years of experience in a supply chain or operations role, preferably in manufacturing or regulated industries
