Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic GM – Sales to lead and drive the overall sales strategy, revenue growth and business expansion of the organization. The candidate should have strong leadership skills, strategic thinking ability and proven experience in handling large sales teams and achieving aggressive targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional/state sales teams.
- Drive new business development and key account management.
- Monitor sales performance, forecasting and pipeline management.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base.
- Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations and finance teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure timely collection and control over outstanding payments.
- Prepare sales reports, MIS and present performance updates to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in Sales, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in team handling and target achievement.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in revenue planning and market expansion.
- Proven track record of handling high-value clients.
