Role Description The GM Accounts & Finance will lead the finance and accounts function for Patel Motors (Indore) Pvt. Ltd., ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and strong internal controls. This full-time, on-site role in Indore includes overseeing accounting operations, finalization of accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. The role involves supervising the accounts team, monitoring receivables and payables, coordinating audits, and ensuring timely submission of financial statements and regulatory filings. The GM Accounts & Finance will collaborate with senior management on financial planning, cost optimization, and risk management, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The position also requires close coordination with banking partners, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders to maintain financial discipline and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, finalization of accounts, reconciliation, and proficiency with accounting standards.
- Candidates should possess financial management capabilities such as budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and cost control for multi-location or multi-division operations.
- Candidates should possess expertise in taxation and compliance, including direct and indirect taxes, GST, TDS, statutory filings, and familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the automotive sector.
- Candidates should possess experience in audit and controls, including coordination with internal and external auditors, implementation of internal controls, and risk management practices.
- Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills to guide the accounts team, allocate responsibilities, train staff, and ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, reporting, and MIS skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, prepare management reports, and support strategic decisions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with financial and accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with senior management, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
