As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be part of an agile team within Group IT. With our products for generating parcel labels for private and business customers, we ensure that international parcel traffic runs smoothly. You will work with modern technologies and tools and actively contribute to the further development of your career and our product portfolio.

What can you expect with us?

  • Technical product responsibility: Together with the team, you will assume technical responsibility for IT products over the entire life cycle - from conception and implementation to rollout and operation
  • Challenging tasks: You will develop scalable and high-performance software applications with backend (e.g. microservices) and sometimes frontend (e.g. customer portals) and ensure the continuous improvement of existing systems
  • Cloud-based architecture: You will implement functional and non-functional requirements in modern, cloud-based IT solutions based on infrastructure-as-code; specialist departments and IT architects support you where necessary
  • Tool and method selection: You will choose suitable tools and methods to solve complex problems quickly and efficiently - always keeping the goal in mind
  • Stable, international environment: You are welcome to join a motivated, international team. We meet regularly on site to maintain personal contact

What do you bring to the table?

  • Academic education: You hold a degree in IT, e.g. computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in Java and Angular: You have been at home in the Java world for more than three years and have extensive, practical experience with common frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, Micronaut), REST-based APIs and databases (SQL). You are also familiar with front-end development in Angular
  • Cloud technologies and DevOps: You have actively used AWS cloud technologies in a professional environment and know how to get your application up and running productively (e.g. by using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or ArgoCD)
  • Ability to work in a team: You appreciate the varied tasks within an agile software development team in which you can rely on each other. You can communicate complex, technical concepts to your colleagues in a clear and understandable way
  • Language skills: You communicate confidently in English and German and feel comfortable in an international environment
